How do I pay for my visits?

    Insurance with Prescription

As we accept most insurances, typically all you need to do is present your prescription for physical therapy. Physical Therapy services will be billed to your insurance who will reimburse us. Depending on your insurance carrier and policy, you may have a co-payment, and/or deductible to pay prior to your visit.

For your convenience, we will verify your benefits prior to your first visit so you understand the finances of therapy.

If you do not have a prescription, you can still receive therapy. This is referred to as Direct Access. If your problem is not resolved within 30 days, however, we will need to refer you to a specialist or your primary care doctor for further continued care and/or diagnostics.

    Cash with Prescription

If we do not accept your insurance plan, we offer affordable cash prices per session with discounts available when purchasing more than one session at a time. You will receive the same quality of care nonetheless.

All notes, including evaluations and progress notes will be faxed to your doctor as they normal would had we accepted your insurance.

    Initial Evaluation

$100 – 45 minutes 1 on 1 where we evaluate the body part(s) or condition and develop a plan of care. You will likely receive a Home Exercise Program in addition to modalities like heat/ice/electrical stimulation should you be in pain.

    Follow-up Visit

$50 – 20 minutes 1-on-1 followed by exercise and therapeutic modalities such as hot/ice packs, electrical stimulation, etc. The session will usually be up to an hour in length.

    Insurance

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. On your behalf, we will verify your benefits so that you can rest assured you understand the costs of receiving physical therapy.

Generally, it is best that your understand how your insurance works. We recommend that you know the answers to the following questions to better understand how your insurance covers physical therapy:

    • Does my health insurance plan include physical therapy benefits?
    • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
    • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
    • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Once we establish that we accept your insurance we can schedule your first visit. Often we need to send a request for authorization for physical therapy services to your doctor, who in turn, will contact the insurance company. Usually there isn’t much delay, though there are times you may need to wait a few business days before you can start therapy. Otherwise, we risk having to bill you for uncovered services, which we hope to avoid – especially if you’re covered!

    Payment

We accept cash and all major credit cards as forms of payment.

    Insurance Verification

As a courtesy, we will verify your insurance prior to your first visit, informing you of an co-payments, co-insurances or deductibles due.

    Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be billed $25 for the inconvenience.
